A Hero To The Left?
British Labour MP Harriet Harman put her dainty foot in it earlier this week by describing Fidel Castro as "a hero to the left" (though she did add that it was "time for Cuba to move on" - I'm sure they're delighted with her advice.

MeanwhileDaniel Finkelstein has been running a mini-campaign against Harman's idiocy. Today's column sees him broadening his attack against the other useful idiots who have backed Fidel in the past, and wondering why those who slaver over these monsters aren't treated with the same scorn we rightly reserve for fascists.
"A few months ago the Tory candidate Nigel Hastilow had to resign for saying that Enoch Powell may have had a point. And it was right that he went", he concludes,
